ITD Cementation - Board to consider dividend

ABB fixes Book Closure for Dividend & AGM

CLSA cuts FY10 EPS estimates for Tata Steel, SBI, ICICI Bank, RIL

Hong Kong based Brokerage firm CLSA has given negative report on EPS targets of major index companies on the back economic slow down.

CLSA has cut Tata Steel’s EPS targets by 40% to Rs. 6.90 while it sees Hindalco to do FY09 EPS plunging to -10.60.

The form has also cut EPS estimates of RIL (for FY09), ICICI BANK, and SBI (for FY10) by 6%, 8.2% and 5.2%, respectively.

The brokerage firm, sees 2009-end target for BSE SENSEX 11,000 while it has cut Sensex’s  FY09 EPS estimate by 5% and that of FY10 by 7%.

Among non index stocks CLAS has cut Punj Lloyd’s FY09 EPS estimate by 18%.

Metal, Banks, Oil and Gas, IT loses most; Sensex down 199 points

Week opened Indian stock markets closed father week on the CLAS downgrades of EPS targets of most of the index stocks. CLSA has down graded the EPS targets of ICICI Bank, TATA Steel, and Reliance Industries.

BSE Bank index closed at 4298.91 down by 3.49%, IT index closed at 2038.51 down by 2.69% and Metal Index closed down by 2.67% at 4692.47.

Markets close in red; Nifty down by 52 pts, Sensex down 199

February 20th, 2009

On the last trading session before a long weekend the Indian stock markets ended on lower note. The NSE CNX Nifty50 closed at 2736.45 down by almost 2% or 52 points.

The BSE Sensex closed at 8843 down by 199 points, but the Nifty and Sensex both closed above theirs support levels. Nifty did slip below its critical support level of 2750 but managed to end above 2700 mark. BSE Sensex closed at 8843 above support level of 8800.

PFC Board declares Interim Dividend 2.65 per share

PFC has informed BSE that the Board of the Company at its meeting held on February 19, 2009, has declared and approved the payment of interim dividend at the rate of 26.5% (Rs 2.65/- per share) for the financial year 2008-09.

Best ULIP - IDBI-FORTIS Wealthsurance

IDBI, an Indian Private sector bank has tied up with Europe’s premier Bancassurer, Fortis for insurance business in India . IDBI-Fortis is joint venture between IDBI,Fortis, and Federal Bank.

IDBI holds 48% stake and Frotis and Federal banks hold 26% each.

IDBI fortis has lunched its first products in March 2008.
